Wet weather makes plans difficult

Friday, January 18, 2008

The recent wet weather has made it difficult for James Eustace to make plans for his jumping string. AT THE MONEY is an intended runner at Folkestone on Monday but there has to be some doubt about the meeting going ahead. If the meeting is off he could revert to the flat at Kempton on Wednesday. He is entered in a 2 mile handicap there.

Wednesday could see Szaba making her racecourse debut at Lingfield. She is entered in a 6 furlong maiden race. She has been going nicely at home but it does look an unusually hot maiden for this time of year. She is likely to find one or 2 too good for her but will hopefully run a nice race. James Eustace is hoping that Hayley Turner will be available to take the ride as she has ridden her at home .
