Blue Peter Racing have high hopes at Yarmouth

Monday, September 17, 2007

Blue Peter Racing have runners on consecutive days at Yarmouth this week. FARSIGHTED runs tomorrow in the 7 furlong nursery and she only has 6 opponents. She was a bit outpaced at Windsor last time out at and she had top weight. She is a small filly so will be better suited by tomorrow’s conditions and a smaller field She is back over the trip she won over and will hopefully run well. She may be at her best on soft ground but should not be inconvenienced by faster ground. WHISTLEUPTHEWIND runs the following day in a 7 furlong handicap. She will be carrying a 6 pound penalty for last week’s win but she is a filly in form and should go close again. She will be ridden by Seb Saunders who is having a great battle with Jamie Spencer for the jockey’s title so will be very keen to add another winner to his score.

ANATOLIAN PRINCE is being dropped to selling company at Lingfield tomorrow. He does has various well documented problems which have led to some disappointing performances this season. He makes a noise and the application of a tongue tie did work at Yarmouth when he finished second in a claimer. If this has the same effect tomorrow he could go close at it is not a great contest.

LADY AVENGER is being prepared for the big Ayr meeting at the end of the week. She is entered in the Harry Roseberry on Friday and the Firth of Clyde on Saturday. The latter is the preferred option. She will need cut in the ground but they did have a lot of rain today so James Eustace is hopefull that she will get conditions to suit her.
