Drop in trip should suit Second Opinion

Thursday, August 23, 2007

SECOND OPINION showed a lot of speed on her racecourse debut over 6 furlongs so the drop back in trip to 5 furlongs should suit her tomorrow at Bath. She was a promising fourth at Nottingham on her debut and the form of that race is working out well. She hasnít got the best draw, 11 of 16, but she does have a definite chance tomorrow. ANATOLIAN PRINCE runs on the same day at Newbury in a competitive looking claiming race. He put in a much improved performance at Yarmouth last time out when equipped with a tongues strap for the first time. He has come out of this race well and could well have progressed since then. This a is a tougher race, he has a hard task at the weights with some of his rivals but could well run into a place at a big price.
