Tuesday is a big day in the life of Chloe Madgin. She is going to have her first ride in public aboard ARIODANTE at Chester in a ladies race. She has been with James Eustace since she left the racing school and has become an important part of the team, riding work, schooling etc so thoroughly deserves her chance to ride in a race. Chester may not be the easiest track to make your debut on but ARIODANTE should be an ideal ride. He has won at Brighton and so should have no problems with the track and will hopefully give Chloe an ideal debut and make it an enjoyable experience for her. We all wish her the best of luck.
CAVENDISH runs at Wolverhampton tomorrow in a median maiden over 9 ˝ furlongs. Strictly on the form it is a tough ask but he can hopefully finish in the frame. He has been waiting for soft ground but rather than stand in his box he may aswell take his chance on the all-weather. He has run well on this track and surface before. The drop back in trip is a slight experiment so it will be interesting to see if this is the right distance for him.
On Thursday KARKY SCHULTZ should have a good chance at Yarmouth in a 6 furlong maiden auction race. He ran a very promising race first time out finishing 5th at Folkestone and the form of this race is working out well. He has come on for the run so should be thereabouts on Thursday. The slight worry could be the ground as he wouldn’t want it too firm. They have had rain there recently and there should be a good covering of grass so hopefully it should be fine. BOLD BOBBY is also entered there in a 6 furlong maiden race but is unlikely to run unless there is significant rain as she needs soft ground.
WHISTLEUPTHEWIND ran an encouraging race last week, her first run after a break. She has come out of the race well and will run at either Liecester or Lingfield on Saturday providing the ground remains fast.
