First runners of the new turf season

Saturday, March 31, 2007

James Eustace intends to have his first runner of the new turf season at Folkestone on Tuesday. POCHARD is entered in a 12 furlong fillies only handicap. They have had some rain down there so the ground is currently on the soft side of good which should suit her. It would be great if she could get the season off to a flying start!

ANATOLIAN PRINCE has his first run in handicap company at Nottingham on Wednesday over a mile. He has been working quite nicely at home and has done well over the winter so hopefully he will run well but may just need the run. HOT CHERRY is a possible runner on the same day at Lingfield on the polytrack. She is entered in a 7 furlong maiden race.

CAVENDISH was balloted out of his intended race on Monday so has been re routed to Wolverhampton on Thursday. He is due to run in a 12 furlong maiden race there.
