At The Money makes hurdling debut tomorrow

Monday, February 5, 2007

James Eustace is looking forward to AT THE MONEY making his debut over hurdles tomorrow at Market Rasen. He has been schooling well at home so if he does jump well under race conditions he should put in a bold show. It does not look the strongest race on paper but some of the runners will have the advantage of a previous run over hurdles. He stays very well on the flat so he may be suited by further than tomorrow’s trip of 2 ¼ miles over hurdles.

WHISTLEUPTHEWIND is hoping to make amends for last weeks’s run at Wolverhampton, she slightly missed the break that day and then got interferred with. She could never really get on terms with the leaders after this. There are no suitable races for her over 6 furlongs so she reverts to 7 furlongs at Lingfield on Wednesday. She has been a close second over this trip and on this surface so it should not be a problem. The same jockey who rode her then, Steve Donohue, is back on board and he still claims a useful 3 pounds. She is drawn 5 of the 10 runners which should be ideal for her so she should have a good chance if she gets a bit of luck in running this time.
