NORDIC DASH and BLUE CABLE both run at Kempton tomorrow evening and will be ridden by Shane Kelly. NORDIC DASH runs in a 7 furlong novice and is drawn 7 of the 9 runners. She ran a nice race on debut at Leicester and showed plenty of pace that day so we have stuck to the same trip. She is bred to stay further though and we envisage her making up into a middle distance performer next season. We don't think she will be suited by soft ground and she works well on the polytrack at home so we thought Kempton was a more suitable option even though she will have to take on the colts. We hope she can build on her encouraging first run tomorrow.
BLUE CABLE is being dropped back to 6 furlongs again tomorrow as she clearly didn't get the 7 furlongs at Newcastle last time out. It did look the ideal race on paper as it was a 0-55 handicap, she runs in the same grade tomorrow and is well drawn in stall 1 of the 12 runners. She has run well over 6 furlongs before and Shane Kelly thought that this trip at Kempton should be ideal for her. She just didn't get the trip last time out so we hope she can show her true ability tomorrow and get her head in front as she clearly has the ability and is genuine.
