COVERHAM returns to Kempton tomorrow where he has such a good record. He is running in a mile handicap and is drawn 7 of the 13 runners. His regular partner Ryan Tate takes the ride once again. All his wins at Kempton have been over 7 furlongs but the way he has been running over a mile on the turf recently suggests that this could now be his best trip. He has also run very well on the all weather at Chelmsford over a mile. There are currently no suitable 7 furlong handicaps at Kempton so we felt this race was worth a go. He has been running well all year and continues to be in good form at home so we hope he will run another good race tomorrow.
MENDOZA runs at Kempton tomorrow too in a 6 furlong handicap and is drawn 7 of the 9 runners. He has been off the track for a long time having sustained an injury so is likely to need this run. He has been given plenty of time to recover and we are just delighted to get him back on the track. He is a course and distance winner at Kempton so this seems a good comeback race for him. 7 furlongs may be his best distance going forward and we will look to step him up in trip next time. We just hope he can run a nice race tomorrow and progress from there.
