WINDY COVE was very disappointing on her last run on the turf at Windsor and there was no obvious explanation. We hope she can put that bad run behind her by returning to the polytrack . She ran a very good race on the same surface at Kempton and handled Lingfield well on racecourse debut so we hope the combination of track and surface will see her bounce back to form. Yet again she is badly drawn but over 12 furlongs it is not such a disadvantage there so we hope she can overcome that. She will have the assistance of the current champion jockey Oisin Murphy in the saddle. WINDY COVE is entered in the sales at Newmarket at the end of the month and we would recommend her to anyone as a potential jumper or to run on the flat. She is a very hardy sound filly and stays well so is an ideal jumping or dual purpose prospect.
