ASTROMAN heads to Wolverhampton tomorrow to run in a mile handicap. He has matured physically and mentally since he was gelded after his last run last year and we have been pleased with his work at home. The trip should be fine for him but there is a slight question mark whether he will handle the tight track. He is theoretically well drawn in stall 1 of the 12 runners but it may not be the best place for him on such a tight track. Dougie Costello has his first ride for us on him as Shane Kelly is riding elsewhere. ASTROMAN is a big horse and Dougie, being a former National Hunt jockey, should suit him. If he can handle the track then he should run well tomorrow.
