AT THE MONEY, having his first run for 4 months, battled on gamely to win at Warwick yesterday. James Eustace was worried that may have needed yesterday’s race after a long break so he may improve further for this run. He is a model of consistency and has not run a bad race all season. He was given a mid season break as he does not like firm ground but he seems to have come back better than ever and could now run at Newmarket at the end of the month. He might even be tried on the all-weather at either Kempton or Southwell during the winter. He will remain in training next season and should make up into a decent staying handicapper.
It was particularly apt that AT THE MONEY should win yesterday as Harold Nass, his owner, sent James Eustace a very nice Diktat yearling colt from the sales. It has been a particularly busy week at the sales this week hence the lack of information on the website. James Eustace has bought some nice yearlings which will hopefully provide plenty more winners for the yard next season.
