DIRECTORY heads for Nottingham tomorrow where he is drawn 8 of only 8 runners in a mile handicap. He is a winner over this trip and we know he likes soft ground but it just a question of whether he will handle such heavy ground as it is likely to be tomorrow. He has been working well on soft ground at home so we are are hopeful of a big run from him tomorrow.
PERIPHERIQUE makes her debut over hurdles in a 2 mile juvenile fillies race at Fakenham. She has been destined for a career over jumps ever since we bought her as a yearling. She has taken well to jumping at home and our only slight worry is whether the track and the ground will be a bit sharp for her. There are 9 runners and it looks an open contest so we hope she can put in a good performance tomorrow. We are looking forward to seeing her run over hurdles as she is an interesting filly for the future.
