SEE THE CITY returns to the track at Fakenham tomorrow in a 2 mile novice hurdle and there are 7 runners. He suffered a rather freak injury after an extraordinary fall on his first start over hurdles back in the spring. He jumped all the hurdles well but then tried to jump a path between the last flight and the line and ended up falling. He sustained an extensive cut to his hind leg which was not serious but just took a long time to heal. He does like give in the ground so was never going to be a summer jumper and may have benefitted from the enforced break. We have been very pleased with him at home, he has been going very nicely. 2 miles at Fakenham may be a bit sharp for him but it seemed a good place to start and we just hope he can run an encouraging race for the season ahead.
