MENDOZA returns to Kempton tomorrow where he is a course and distance winner. We are leaving the hood off this time and hope that a return to his winning trip and track will see him bounce back to form. He is drawn 12 of the 12 which may not be such a disadvantage to him. Pat Cosgrave will ride him for the first time so we hope he can get a good tune out of him. He seems in good form at home so we are hoping for the best.
NORDIC FLIGHT will have his first run at Kempton in a 12 furlong handicap. He is drawn 7 of the 7 runners and Shane Kelly will ride him for the first time. We are putting the blinkers back on him but will not aim to make the running with him. The ground could have been to blame for his runs at Newbury and Yarmouth, it was possibly too firm on both occasions. We are hoping that a return to the all weather surface and the blinkers back on will bring out the ability on the track that he shows at home.
