COVERHAM returns to to the turf at Newmarket's July course tomorrow evening. His only previous turf win was at Newmarket but on the Rowley Mile course. He runs in a mile handicap and is drawn 7 of the 13 runners. He finished very well in his last race over 7 furlongs at Kempton in a very fastly run race and gave the impression that a mile may suit him well now especially as he is a year older. He does have some good form over a mile. He is theoretically well treated on the turf as he is rated 71, 2 pounds below his all weather rating. There looks as if there will be plenty of pace in the race which will suit his style of running and he should like the ground. COVERHAM is in great form at home and with alot in his favour tomorrow he should run a big race.
