Coverham on course for Chelmsford
Wednesday, April 17, 2019
COVERHAM has come out of his first run of the season well and is heading for Chelmsford tomorrow evening. He ran well in a 0-80 handicap at Leicester recently, showing plenty of early speed, but it was his first run of the season and maybe he just needed it. He is drawn 2 of the 15 runners which may or may not be a good draw for him. If he breaks as well as he did at Leicester then he can make use of it but he has been a bit slowly away on other occasions which would mean the draw could work against him. The question mark is whether this is his best trip at this track, it is elsewhere but his best form here is arguably over a furlong further. He is going to need a bit of luck in running with such a big field but he has run well at Chelmsford before so we are hoping for the best.
