ENVOY and FATHER McKENZIE both run at Kempton tomorrow and will be ridden by Ryan Tate. Let's hope they can continue our good run as DIRECTORY won there last night. ENVOY runs in a 1 mile 3 furlong handicap and is drawn 3 of 8 runners. He won well at the track last time out ,admittedly over a furlong further, but he has won over a mile so a step back in trip should not be a problem. The horse are still running well so we are hopeful he can follow up his recent victory there.
FATHER McKENZIE runs in a 6 furlong handicap and is drawn 5 of 12 runners. He has been waiting to run for a few weeks but has either been balloted out or the ground has been wrong for him. He has form on the all weather so we hope we can have a good campaign with him over the winter. He had a wind operation before his penultimate start and we are putting a tongue tie on him this time just as an additional aid. We still think the operation has been successful and he has retained his ability as he has been working very well at home. We hope he can bounce back to form tomorrow.
