Two runners at two tracks tomorrow

Thursday, August 30, 2018
We have two runners on the flat at two different tracks tomorrow. FATHER McKENZIE heads up the A1 to Thirsk to run in a 6 furlong handicap and is drawn 12 of the 13 runners. We hope that he needed his last run at Nottingham as he had been working well before the race and has worked well since that run. He travelled well that day but just got tired in the closing stages. Hopefully that has put the edge on him for tomorrow where he will be ridden by Luke Morris who should suit him well.
GLENDUN runs on the all weather at Wolverhampton in a 10 furlong handicap. He is drawn 5 of the 9 runners and will be ridden by Ryan Tate.
We have wanted to step up in distance with him but he is a fast ground horse so the turf conditions would not suit him at the moment but the Tapeta surface should be fine for him. He has to prove he will act on a sharp track though but he has run well at Chelmsford. He has been placed over this distance before so he could run well tomorrow.
