It was great to see AVIATOR return to winning ways at Huntingdon last night at the age of 10. He did have a long time off with a tendon injury and it has taken him a couple of runs to get him back to something like his best. He was a fair hurdler before the injury and he has been showing at home that he has retained alot of his ability so we kept faith in him. He didn't run a bad race at Kempton last time out over an inadequate trip and he really enjoyed the longer trip yesterday. A return to the flat is not out of the question as there do not appear to be any obvious races for him over hurdles in the next few weeks but we will see how he comes out of this race before making future plans for him.
