FATHER McKENZIE, COVERHAM and DEDUCE run on
Friday and all have a chance. Ryan Tate
takes the ride on all three. COVERHAM and DEDUCE both ran well last time out at
Kempton so are returning there again. COVERHAM ran a blinder over 6 furlongs
last time and is stepping up to 7 furlongs tomorrow purely because it is the
most suitable race for him. He has good form though over distances from 6
furlongs to a mile. We would be interested in returning to 6 furlongs on the
turf but this trip should suit him well on this track. He has a better draw
this time in stall 5 of the 14 runners so we hope he can run a big race. DEDUCE
ran very well over this trip of 12 furlongs last time. They went a good gallop
in that race which helped her so if the race is run to suit her tomorrow she
should go close again.
FATHER McKENZIE runs in a 6 furlong
handicap at Lingfield. He showed a lot of speed from a bad draw last time out
at Chelmsford. He too has a much better draw tomorrow, drawn 1 of the 9
runners. He has good form over this trip
on the turf and he should have come on from his last run as that was his first
run after a break.
