Runners under both codes tomorrow

Thursday, November 30, 2017
We have one runner over hurdles and one on the flat tomorrow. DEBACLE will be making his racecourse debut in a 2 mile Nation Hunt Maiden hurdle race at Newbury. He was only broken in this spring as he is a proper National Hunt bred horse so he is still a big baby but we really like him. He has been working nicely and has schooled well. He is showing all the signs of developing into a nice National Hunt horse and has the size and scope to go chasing in the future. Tomorrow we just hope he can jump round nicely and show some ability so that we can progress from there.
GLENDUN makes the shorter journey to Chelmsford tomorrow evening. He runs in a mile handicap and is well drawn in stall 5 of the 15 runners. He won at Kempton last time out over the same trip but he has run well at Chelmsford before so the track should not be a problem. He will wear sheepskin cheekpieces as he wore them last time and they seemed to help. He has been in good form at home so we hope he is good enough to win again but it looks a very competitive race.
