We have two runners tomorrow, one on the flat and one over hurdles. MUSIC SEEKER heads to Doncaster to run in a 10 furlong handicap on the flat. He is well drawn in stall 3 of the 8 runners and Ryan Tate takes the ride. He ran well at Newbury last time out over the same trip. He stayed on well in the closing stages suggesting he would get further but we are sticking with this trip for the now. As it was soft ground when he won at Newmarket and ran at Newbury we would prefer to see some showers . On the other hand it would be interesting for the future to see how effective he is on quicker ground. He has been in good form at home since Newbury so he should be competitive again and we hope he gets lucky tomorrow.
CAPTAIN FELIX returns to hurdles tomorrow. He was placed in maiden company in the autumn but clearly didn't handle very soft ground at Sandown in his last run over hurdles. His best flat form has been on a quicker surface so the ground should be ideal for him tomorrow. It will effectively be his run in a handicap over hurdles as his Sandown run can be ignored as he just didn't handle the conditions. He has run respectably on the flat in 2 recent outings but the plan was always to return to hurdling. We had just hoped we could have picked up a flat race along the way. He is tops weight of the 12 runners but we hope he can run well, Jack Quinlan takes the ride.
