POPPY TIME and BURNING HEAT both head for local track Yarmouth tomorrow and Ryan Tate rides them both. POPPY TIME is a slightly doubtful runner as she will only run if the rain arrives as she does like to get her toe in. She is entered in a 10 furlong fillies handicap and is drawn 2 of the 10 runners. On the form of her last 2 runs she could run very well. She was a bit free early on in her last run so Ryan will attempt to get her more settled early on tomorrow and if she does then she should be thereabouts.
BURNING HEAT is running in a 14 furlong handicap and is drawn 1 of the 5 runners. He is entered in the July sales on Thursday but his owner is keen to see him run and will be there with his family so it would be nice if he could put his best foot forward tomorrow. He was overcome by the heat last time he ran as it was a very hot day and he finish distressed but, apart from that run, he has been running very well in good races over hurdles so if he can translate that form back to the flat he is not without a chance.
