We had two declared runners at Kempton tomorrow but unfortunately NEXT TRAIN'S GONE has to be withdrawn as he wasn't 100% this morning. This leaves FATHER McKENZIE as our only runner. He runs in a 6 furlong handicap and is well drawn in stall 3 of the 11 runners. He has run some very good races for us this year but is plenty high enough in the handicap. Ryan Tate suggested that we put a claiming jockey on him as he is a very straightforward horse to ride and the weight allowance should help. We have booked Joshua Bryan who claims 5 pounds and has been doing well lately. He is apprentice to Andrew Balding who is well known for producing good jockeys. The slight unknown is the track but FATHER McKENZIE has some previous good form at Chelmsford which is the same type of surface but is a left hand track and Kempton is right handed. The top weight, BLUE ON BLUE, will be hard to beat but is drawn wide. We are hopeful that he can run well and he certainly deserves to get his head in front.
