COVERHAM and NEXT TRAIN'S GONE both go to Kempton with chances tomorrow. Ryan Tate, who sprang a surprise at Newbury yesterday riding a 100-1 winner, rides them both. COVERHAM runs in a 7 furlong handicap and is drawn 11 of the 14 runners. His first run for us was at Chelmsford over 6 furlongs and he ran a very good race finishing a close 3rd from a bad draw. Unfortunately he has a bad draw again tomorrow but the extra furlong should definitely suit him and we hope he will run a decent race. He has come out of his last race well and is in good form at home.
NEXT TRAIN'S GONE runs in a 2 mile handicap and is drawn 5 of the 7 runners. He finished off last year with a win over this trip at Chelmsford so is proven on the surface. He did well to win as a 3 year old as he is late maturing horse which is no surprise as he is from a late maturing family. He looks to have improved physically with another winter on his back and he is easier to train now that he is a more mature horse. All of the horses that we have run who have had a winter holiday have needed their first run but he is working well and should run a decent race.
