Whistleupthewind to go one better

Wednesday, June 14, 2006

WHISTLEUPTHEWIND has come out her race at Bath extremely well so is ready to run again at Yarmouth tomorrow. She is running in a fillies handicap over a mile and will be running off the same handicap mark as before so should have a great chance of going one better. Shane Kelly will be in the saddle again. She has also got an entry at Lingfield on Saturday on the all weather but she is unlikely to run there aswell. HIGHLAND CASCADE is running at Yarmouth too in a 6 furlong handicap. She has come on from her last race at Folkestone but will find it hard to beat Rosapenna at the weights, who finished in front of her last time.

Thursday is a busy day for the yard as there are also 2 runners at Newbury. COLTON makes his first appearance in a handicap and does not appear to be too harshly treated. He is running over 7 furlongs which should suit him so he has hopefully got a good chance. LADY GALADRIEL is making only her second appearance on a racecourse in a 3 year olds only fillies maiden over 10 furlongs. She was very green first time out but has hopefully learnt from that experience and is expected to finish closer tomorrow as long as she handles the ground which is good/firm.
