Sandy Cove back at Kempton
Sunday, August 21, 2016
SANDY COVE returns to Kempton tomorrow evening. He has won 3 races there over 12 furlongs and will be ridden by regular partner Ryan Tate. There are 12 runners and he is drawn 5. The only slight unknown is the surface as it has been refurbished since he last won there and is now riding a bit slower which may not favour him. The 3 year olds, ATHLON and POINTEL, look to be his biggest rivals tomorrow. He is running off a career high mark of 71 which makes it tough for him but he seems in good form at home and should give a good account of himself again tomorrow.
