Poppy Time makes her debut

Sunday, May 1, 2016
POPPY TIME makes her racecourse debut at Windsor tomorrow afternoon in a mile maiden race. She is drawn 8 of the 14 runners and Ryan Tate takes the ride. She was unraced at 2 and came into training with us over the winter. She is a home bred filly owned by Bob and Pauline Scott who also own a share in FOLLY BERGERE in training with us. We have been pleased with her progress since she came in but she will need the run as she was only in training briefly last year so we are starting from a blank canvas. She is a very willing filly who has been working nicely and is learning all the time. She should run an encouraging race but will definitely come on for the run. A mile looks a good trip to start her off over as there is plenty of speed on the dams side of the pedigree but she is by Derby winner Pour Moi so has plenty of stamina in the pedigree too.
