ICE SLICE runs at Brighton for the first time tomorrow in a mile handicap. He is drawn 7 of the 14 runners and Ryan Tate takes the ride. He ran very well first time out this year at Pontefract finishing fourth from a bad draw and at a track that was stiff enough for him. The easier track at Brighton should be ideal for him as long as he can cope with the idiosyncrasies of the course. If he can cope with down the hill section well he should be fine but it is a slight gamble. The ground is currently soft which is ideal and hopefully it wont dry out too much before tomorrow. He has come out of his last race really well so he should have a definite chance if handling the track.
