Pocket steps up in trip tomorrow

Friday, April 15, 2016
POCKET heads for Nottingham tomorrow evening where she runs in a 10 furlong handicap. She is well drawn in stall 4 of the 13 runners and Ryan Tate takes the ride. She has not run since the end of last year when she showed us that she is a very genuine filly who tries hard. There is alot of stamina on the dams side of her pedigree so we hope that stepping her up in trip is the way forward with her. We are starting her off over 10 furlong and we will see where go from here. We are unsure if she will handle the soft ground but this looks an ideal race to start her off in and there is only one way to find out if she will handle it and that is by giving it a go. Unfortunately Newbury has succumbed to the weather and has been abandoned today.
