WIND PLACE AND SHO is due to make his seasonal reappearance at Newbury tomorrow, weather permitting. He is due to run in a 2 mile 2 furlong handicap and is drawn 7 of the 9 runners. We are really pleased with the way he has done over the winter and he has ben working nicely at home. We are a bit nervous about running him over this trip on heavy ground on his his first run of the season but there very few alternatives and we want to get a run into him before the York meeting in May. if Newbury does succumb to the weather he will be re routed to Epsom next week to run in the Grand Metropolitan handicap. Not an ideal race for him though as it is only over 12 furlongs so hopefully tomorrow will go ahead. We hope he will run a decent race but he is entitled to need this first run of the season.
