Sandy Cove up in grade tomorrow
Sunday, February 28, 2016
SANDY COVE ran a very good race in his first run back after a break at Kempton recently finishing a close second. He was racing off a pound higher mark than his previous highest winning mark, the down side of that run was that the handicapper has raised him a further pound to 66 so he is out of 0-65 handicaps. He runs tomorrow in a 12 furlong 0-75 handicap at Wolverhampton so we will see how he goes in this grade. He is well drawn in stall 2 of the 9 runners and Luke Morris takes the ride. He has ridden him to all of his 4 previous victories so clearly gets on very well with the horse. He is also a course and distance winner so he has alot on his favour and we are hopeful of another good run tomorrow.
