ORCADIAN made an impressive debut over hurdles yesterday so kept James Eustace's dream of a festival winner still alive. Apart from a scare at the second hurdle ORCADIAN jumped fluently and then showed great battling qualities as he was headed after the last hurdle but came back to win by a length, there was a distance back to the remainder of the finishers. Ideally James Eustace would like to give ORCADIAN another run before Cheltenham but as the festival is less than 4 weeks away he will go straight there. He will be aimed at the Supreme Novices Hurdle over 2 miles.
There are oly a couple of possible runners next week. TRANSACTION is entered in a 6 furlong claiming race at Lingfield on Tuesday and CETSHWAYO is still set to make his hurdling debut at Southwell on Wednesday.
