Orcadian ready for hurdling debut

Tuesday, February 7, 2006

ORCADIAN is to make his hurdling debut at Newbury this Saturday. James Eustace is 99.9% sure that Mark Bradbourne will be able take the ride, he has been doing all the schooling of the horse at home so knows him well. ORCADIAN is in great form with himself and everyone is looking forward to seeing him run. If he runs well then the Cheltenham dream is still alive as that is his obvious next target. The ground at the moment is good, a bit of rain would not do any harm but genuine good jumping ground will be fine for the horse. Newbury should be a good track for him, he has run well there on the flat and it does seem to be a lucky track for the trainer.

TRANSACTION is being dropped down to selling company at Wolverhampton on Monday. He is well capable of winning a contest of this grade but appears to have 2 ways of running these days. James Eustace is hoping to be able to book Neil Callan as he gets on well with the horse and rides him well.
