Wind Place and Sho goes to Newbury tomorrow
Thursday, May 14, 2015
WIND PLACE AND SHO makes his handicap debut at Newbury tomorrow over 11 furlongs and is drawn 12 of the 16 runners. He has been in good form since his win at Pontefract last time out and we have given him plenty of time to recover from that run. He is the type of horse who will improve with time so we didn't feel the need to rush him back onto the track. He won over 10 furlongs but he should stay further so this 11 furlong race seems an ideal stepping stone for him. It looks a competitive race but we expect him to run well. There is rain forecast and this will help his chances as it will make it more of a stamina test and he should act well on soft ground.
