Innpursuit returns to the flat

Wednesday, January 25, 2006

INNPURSUIT has been running over hurdles recently but returns to the all weather this Saturday. Although he has jumped well over hurdles he does not seem to stay the 2 miles. Hopefully he will find 10 furlongs at Lingfield more to his liking. He has got some all weather form so he could run well. On the same day TRANSACTION is running at Wolverhampton over 7 furlongs. This is an extra meeting that has been put on because of the adverse weather conditions forecast that could affect the turf jump meetings. TRANSACTION has run well on his last 2 runs over 6 furlongs from poor draws. He will be better suited by the extra furlong and is in good form at home. He seems to be enjoying his racing again and could bounce back.

MISSED TURN is entered in a one mile claiming race at Lingfield on Sunday. Her best form is over this trip and on this track. She is not best in at the weights but does seem to be returning to form.

ORCADIAN is not far off making his eagerly awaited debut over hurdles. He has been schooling well but has been slightly held up by the weather. He holds entries at the Cheltenham festival and that will be his target if he runs well. The schooling seems to have done him a lot of good mentally. It has sweetened him up and given him more confidence at home on the gallops. It will be interesting to see if this leads to an improvement in form on the racecourse.
