Runners after festive break

Monday, January 9, 2006

There have been relatively few runners over the festive season but the horses have been running well without yet hitting the winning spot. TRANSACTION was fifth last week not beaten very far, he seems to be coming back to form. MISSED TURN ran respectably considering she was wrong at the weights and she has another entry on Wednesday at Lingfield . Also on Wednesday INNPURSUIT is set to have his second run over hurdles at Newbury. He didnít trouble the judge on his first effort but did jump well, hopefully he can finish a bit closer this time. He may just need the run as he had a setback after his last run but he seems in good form at home.

BLUEBERRY TART has enjoyed a short break after her busy pre Christmas spell. She is entered at Wolverhampton on Friday in a handicap and Lingfield on Saturday in a maiden. She is more likely to run on Friday as she will definitely get a run, Neil Callan has been booked to ride her there. She has run well at this course and distance so has the form to run well in this type of contest.
