Busy spell for Blueberry Tart

Friday, December 16, 2005

Due to the programme book, rather than the trainerís wishes, BLUEBERRY TART ran 3 times in 5 days. She ran really well on the first 2 occasions to be second twice but the third run was a bridge too far. She is rated 62 so gets eliminated from 0-70 contests and is not eligible for 0-60. One of the races she contested was a 0-65 but they are a rare occurrence. She will now have a well deserved break until January when there will be more suitable opportunities for her. She has shown she is definitely capable of winning a race if she gets a suitable opportunity.

TRANSACTION and MISSED TURN are both entered in the same race next Tuesday at Lingfield. There are a lot of entries so MISSED TURN is unlikely to make the cut but TRANSCATION has a better chance. MISSED TURN has the same problem as BLUEBERRY TART but again she will have more opportunities in January. It looks as if there wonít be any runners over the festive period so the editor would like to take this opportunity to wish all readers a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS.
